For the 13th year we are proud to announce that the Tillamook Chapter of Coastal Conservation Association (CCA) Oregon will again be holding a banquet to raise money for the fish. Just like everything else in the current world we live in, this will not be a like those we are accustomed to. The 2020 banquet will be a “Virtual Banquet”. Not sure 13 years ago I could tell you what “virtual” even meant but it’s a reality today.
You will be able to preview the items starting today. Please click HERE to pre-view and participate.
With the state of fisheries, shorter seasons, and continued effort by Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) and other organizations to reduce hatchery plants, the need for CCA is more important than ever. Having a seat at the table where decisions are made is our only chance for change. CCA has that seat. Recently CCA has been involved in several issues that can be found on the CCA Oregon website. Without you, none of this can take place. So we ask and welcome you to participate in the year’s virtual banquet.
One thing that will be missed by not having the in-person banquet, other than a fun evening (and as I was reminded by long time CCA members Jack and Emily Wied the incredible Prime Rib) is your membership renewal. A part of your banquet fee renewed your membership so please even if you’re not a bidder don’t forget to renew that membership. Members count!
Please share with everyone in your fishing and non-fishing circles.
