In 2025 CCA Oregon received a very generous donation from an anonymous donor to match up to $50,000 in raised donations.

A Habitat Committee was formed with Chair: Jack Smith, CCA Oregon President; Jerry Massey, Tillamook Chapter; Pat Cimmiyotti, Columbia River Gorge Chapter; Dan Scott, Tillamook Chapter; Alex Brauer, Tualatin Valley Chapter; and Pat Hoglund, CCA Oregon Executive Director.

MISSION:  the Habitat Committee is dedicated to supporting and implementing habitat restoration projects that enhance natural resources. The committee disperses funds for ongoing projects and actively engages CCA Oregon members in hands-on participation.

Project types are diverse, including culverts, stream restoration, pollution mitigation, and coastal wetland restoration. Collaboration with partners such as ODFW, USFWS, NOAA, NGOs, and Watershed Councils is integral to the committee’s efforts.

The cost of projects varies based on funding availability and the value of the project to the resource.
