2024 Banquet a Great Success
With CCA Oregon Linn-Benton’s chapter banquet under its belt, we’d like to say a special thanks to all those who made it a success. Whether you donated items for our raffle or silent auction, or if you donated for our live auction, we are grateful. Without your support, it would not have been a success. And a special thank you to the 15 fishing guides who donated their time and energy for fishing trips. Add two hosted trips, and the evening was filled with great fishing trips that our guests will enjoy throughout the year.
For those who missed it, CCA Oregon announced its annual tuition assistance scholarship to an Oregon State University student studying fisheries. Chapter president Meili Chung and Linn-Benton member Christopher “Doogie” Douglas presented a commemorative plaque to Nancy MacHugh, who the scholarship is named after. Nancy spent 46 years with the ODFW working to ensure recreational angling remained at the forefront of her work. We couldn’t be prouder to name the scholarship in her name. Nancy was the first woman hired by the ODFW and is considered a true pioneer for women in her field.
